Tips for Making your Home and Car Smoke-Free

Make it known!

Let your family, friends and guests know that you have taken the pledge to keep you and your family safe from the harmful effects of secondhand smoke. Kindly ask those that smoke to not smoke in your home or car especially when around children.

Make sure that those who are at your home when you’re not, such as babysitters, know that your home and car are smoke-free.

If you or any other family member living in your home smoke, create a designated area outside that is away from windows and doors where you can go to smoke.

Quit

Or help others you know quit. There is help out there and it’s free!
