Ending Nicotine Dependence
The goals of the Ending Nicotine Dependence (E.N.D.) Program are to:
- Increase knowledge and awareness of immediate and long term health and social effects of tobacco use
- Improve the life-skills through
- Stress management
- Communication and refusal skills
- Identifying and seeking social support
- Problem solving
- Goal setting
- Decrease participant’s intentions to use tobacco
- Increase readiness to help quit tobacco
- Increase the number of youth who quit using tobacco
Note: Cost for the class is $25 and must be paid before a completion certificate is issued.
