The purpose of the Salt Lake Valley Health Department Public Lodging Program is to provide education and enforce SLVHD regulations on the operation of public lodging establishments.
Specifically, these regulations aim to minimize exposure of the public to any communicable, infectious disease, illness, or unsanitary condition that may be imposed upon them as guests of a public lodging facility as well as to minimize guests’ exposure to unsafe conditions or circumstances that may cause physical injury.
