Noise

The purpose of the Salt Lake Valley Health Department Noise Program is to provide education and enforce SLVHD regulations concerning noise.

 

The purpose of these regulations are to establish standards for the Engine Brakescontrol of noise pollution within Salt Lake County to reduce the making and creation of excessive, unnecessary, or unusually loud noises, to secure, protect, and promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of the residents of Salt Lake County.
