The purpose of the Salt Lake Valley Health Department Housing Program is to provide education and enforce SLVHD regulations on maintaining minimum standards for places of human habitation.

We respond to complaints about housing conditions that may pose a public health risk and direct the responsible party to make corrections. Our main purpose is to minimize health risks to the general public caused by violations to the Housing Regulation.
