Cosmetology

The purpose of the Salt Lake Valley Health Department Cosmetology Program is to provide education and enforce SLVHD regulations that address the operation of cosmetology establishments.

Estheticians, nail technicians, as well as cosmetologists, are regulated by this program. Facilities are assigned to specific health inspectors who make routine inspections as well as investigate any alleged violations in their assigned establishments.
