Body Art
The purpose of the Salt Lake Valley Health Department Body Art Program is to provide 
education and enforce SLVHD regulations on the operation of body art establishments. Tattoo, permanent makeup, and body piercing are regulated by this program. Facilities are assigned to specific health inspectors who make routine inspections as well as investigate any alleged violations in their assigned establishments.
