The Bureau of Sanitation and Safety a
ddresses complaints and deficiencies regarding housing, solid and infectious waste, noise, indoor air quality, zoonoses, lead, radon and animal vector control.
The Bureau also regulates numerous facilities and activities including correctional institutions, schools, cosmetology, massage, chemically contaminated properties (Meth Labs), public lodging, tanning, body art and waste haulers.
