Child Care Food Handler Cards
A Child Care and Preschool Food Handler Card is required before a person may enter or engage in the manufacture, preparation, service or handling of food or drink, or being employed in or around food in a child care facility, preschool, or other child group setting.
The Child Care and Preschool Food Handler class provides basic principles of food handling and food safety for those who work in child group settings.
The general food handler card for persons in other food establishments (restaurants) is not sufficient to meet the requirements for persons in child care facilities and preschools. However, the Child Care Food Handler Card is acceptable for general food service (restaurant) workers.
Food Handler Cards are valid for 2 years.
Class Requirements

Arrive 15 minutes early to register.

Bring Your ID. Picture ID is required to register.

Cost is $15. Please Bring Cash.

Most locations do not accept checks or credit cards.

Classes will start on time. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
Children are not allowed. No exceptions!
