Salt Lake Valley Health Department's Joint Information Center (JIC)
The Salt Lake Valley Health Department will be activating their JIC when needed this fall 2009. It is likely that both the Utah Department of Health and SLVHD's JICs will be operating at the same time.
When should media contact SLVHD's JIC?
- For information specific to Salt Lake County jurisdiction.
- To reach pertinent PIO contacts within the Salt Lake County jurisdiction (including schools, hospitals, cities, etc.)
Location: The SLVHD's JIC is located at the Salt Lake County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at 3380 South 900 West, Salt Lake City.
