Cecilia B. Walker

Cecilia is a National Development Officer for the American Red Cross. Her responsibilities include fund raising for the national organization, as well as serving as a consultant to chapters in Nevada and Utah on their fund raising efforts. She was awarded the National American Red Cross Fund Raising Excellence Award in 1999. Prior to working for the American Red Cross, she was employed with Utah Power, holding various positions at the company.

Cecilia has served on the Salt Lake Valley Board of Health since 1992, and was Chair in 1997. She currently is chair of the Food Safety Committee.

Cecilia is a cum laude graduate of Stevens Henager College, and has attended Utah State University. She also holds the rating of Certified Administrative Manager. She has been active in the Salt Lake Community, and has served on a number of committees for the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. She received the Chamber Champion Award for 1999-2000. She has been a Loaned Executive for the United Way of the Great Salt Lake Area, and done volunteer with the American Heart Associations.
