George J. Van Komen, M.D.

George J. Van Komen, M.D. brings over 30 years of experience as a physician, professor, and health advocate. He has served as the President of the Federation of State Medical Boards of the United States, Chairman of the Physicians Licensing Board for the State of Utah, Chairman of the Quality Assurance Governing Board for LDS Hospital, and member and/or chairman of numerous professional committees and organizations. He has published a large variety of medical papers and received many local and national awards for distinguished service.

Dr. Van Komen is currently in private practice at the Intermountain MemorialClinic, Department of Internal Medicine in Salt Lake City.
